Modern Test Centre is a service facility in the field of Radiological Testing at silk city Berhampur, Odisha. Modern Test Centre is started in the year 2008 by three professionals with an ambition of providing Radiological testing facility to the customer. The laboratory has started its commercial activity from financial year 2010 after achieving all the requisite accreditation. The laboratory was initially designed for measurement of Alpha activity and Beta activity in food and environmental samples and has been slowly expanded for measurement of individual radionuclide content in food samples and also for the radiation testing of Radiation equipment in the field of diagnostic Radiology. The unit was initially started with a handful of customers and fig-1, fig-2 and fig-3 shows the present customer base in the last three financial years in India. By now the unit is not only having customer in almost all parts of India but also exports services to the outside country. Today the unit is doing export test certification in the field of Radiological Requirements for the countries like Bangladesh, Sudan, Russia, Malaysia, UAE, Kazakhstan etc. By the passage of time the test has increased its credential and honored with various awards in the state as well as the country level. The unit has received National Award 2013-14 from Ministry of Micro Small and Enterprises, Govt of India in the services sector.
